Like I mentioned in my past entry,still am quite averse to the idea of updating my blog religiously.
And it's not as if I have any complaints.Besides, to blog about the mundane and trivial is just a frivolous waste of energy,no?
Especially when my communications course is writing-centric, and churning 3 reports/essays a month has become a sorta ritual,(KNN!), updating my blog would feel im studying overtime.
Did I also mention I've never been a computer person?Ever.
And I've always wondered how some specimens can spend hours and hours in front of their computers/laptops simply doing nothing.well ok fine, nothing productive I mean.
I'd rather head to the beach, watch a movie, put on my dancing shoes,meet my crazy girlfriends to shop/eat/bitch whatever , have a picnic (for real) and do all sorta outdoorsy stuff then stay cooped up in the room in front of my laptop.
that only spells L-I-F-E-L-E-S-S.
I understand that not all of us are entitled to the luxury of time, but for those with time on their hands,what I'm simple stating rather vociferously here is why spend a large amount of time on the computer, when you can use that time wisely and do things that are way more meaningful?for yourself or for someone?and aren't those things priceless?Share a joke with someone who's having a rough day or let an old friend know you're missin them and these can be done over a cup of coffee.Doesn't cost much, does it? Well of course, a tad bit more of effort is needed on your part.
But a li'l effort never killed anyone.
Cmon people, life is a gift.OWN IT.don't be an indolent fool and idle the day when there's a 100001 BETTER things you could be doing.Use time effectively.Use it to your best advantage.
Read a book, expand your vocab, spend time with your loved ones,make postcards for your lil cuzins,make someone smile, tell someone how you really feel,hug a friend.(and I'm not talkin virtual hugs)
Start now.You've prolly heard this one time too many but it's Better Late than Never.
